Caitlin Bassett

Caitlin Bassett (born May 23, 1988) is a former Australian netballer. She played for Giants Netball and the Australia national netball team, serving as captain from 2017 to 2021. Bassett began her career in the West Australian Netball League with Demons before joining West Coast Fever, where she played from 2005 to 2016. In 2017, she joined the Sunshine Coast Lightning in the Suncorp Super Netball league. Bassett was also a member of the Perth Orioles in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy from 2005 to 2007. Notably, she was part of the 2011 World Championship winning Australian Diamonds Team, contributing to the team's victory over New Zealand in the final. Bassett's skill and performance were considered instrumental in securing the win.
