Carli Anne Hollins (Lloyd; born July 16, 1982) is an American former professional soccer player. She is widely recognized for her accomplishments in the sport, including being a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2008 and 2012) and a two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion (2015 and 2019). Lloyd's remarkable skills and contributions to her team have earned her the title of two-time FIFA Player of the Year (2015 and 2016). Throughout her career, she represented the United States in four Olympic Games (2008, 2012, 2016, and 2021) and played a key role in securing victory in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic finals. Lloyd's success also includes helping the United States claim victory at the FIFA Women's World Cups in 2015 and 2019. With 316 appearances for the U.S. national team, she holds the second-highest number of caps and ranks among the team's top goal scorers and assist providers.
