Carlo Rota

Carlo Dante Rota (born 17 April 1961) is a British-born Canadian actor known for his roles in popular TV shows. He appeared in the comedy series Little Mosque on the Prairie and gained recognition as the systems analyst Morris O'Brian on the Fox series 24. Rota also co-starred as Emilio Solano in the hit series Jane the Virgin. Born in London, England, to Italian parents, Rota grew up in Osterley and later settled in Toronto with his family. Prior to his acting career, he worked in the culinary industry, owning and operating restaurants in Toronto. Rota's decision to pursue acting at the age of 30 marked a significant turning point in his life.
