Carly Rose Sonenclar

Carly Rose Sonenclar, born on April 20, 1999, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained recognition as the runner-up on the second season of The X Factor USA in December 2012. Born in Westchester, New York, Sonenclar currently resides in Los Angeles, California. With a passion for performing from a young age, she started singing at two and took lessons in singing, dancing, piano, and acting. Sonenclar's talent was noticed by a New York City talent agency, leading to her professional career. Apart from her musical pursuits, she enjoys softball, takes piano lessons, and has a knack for composing songs. Sonenclar graduated from Rye Neck High School in 2017 and received a Bachelor of Science in music from the University of Southern California in 2021. She is of Jewish heritage.
