Caroline Faber

Caroline Faber (1923-2016) was the daughter of Harold Macmillan, the former British Prime Minister. She attended West Heath Girls' School and served as an ambulance driver during World War II. In 1944, she married insurance executive Julian Faber and they had five children. Caroline declined an offer to study medicine at Oxford. She was the last surviving child of Harold Macmillan. Caroline's daughter, Anne Christine Adriane Faber, married British broadcaster and journalist Michael Roger Lewis Cockerell. Caroline Faber passed away in September 2016.
