Casey King is an author, filmmaker, and historian of ideas, currently serving as the Director of Capstone Programs at Yale's Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. Prior to his current role, King held positions such as Executive Director of the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences and Executive Director of the W.E.B. DuBois Institute at Harvard University. In the 1980s, King worked as a corporate bond trader for Salomon Brothers. He is the author of 'Ambition, A History, From Vice to Virtue' and co-authored 'Oh, Freedom! Kids Talk About the Civil Rights Movement with the People who Made it Happen.' King's expertise lies in tracing ambition's evolution from vice to virtue and conducting oral history projects.
