Cassadee Pope, born on August 28, 1989, is an American pop and country singer. She gained prominence as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the pop rock band Hey Monday, releasing one studio album and two EPs. In 2012, she embarked on a solo career and released her debut EP, 'Cassadee Pope'. Pope rose to fame after winning the third season of The Voice, becoming the first female winner in December 2012. Her solo country album, 'Frame by Frame', debuted at No. 1 on Top Country Albums and in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. Prior to her solo career, Pope formed the band Blake and later co-founded Hey Monday with her bandmates.
