Catherine Malandrino

Catherine Malandrino is a French fashion designer known for her unique blend of French and American styles. Born in Grenoble, France to Italian parents, she began her career in Paris after attending ESMOD. Malandrino later moved to New York City where she met Diane von Fürstenberg and was offered a position as senior designer and creative director of the HIGH re-launched house. In 2001, she gained recognition for her 'Flag Collection' featuring feminine, jagged flag dresses inspired by the American flag. Malandrino has designed collections for Lacoste and Kohl's, praised for their attention to detail and quality. She has published the book 'Une Femme Fr' in 2017.
