Catherine Skinner

Catherine Ann Skinner (born 11 February 1990) is an Australian sport shooter and Olympic gold medalist. She won Australia's only shooting medal at the 2013 Summer Universiade, achieving gold in the trap event. Skinner also competed in the women's trap event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and reached the semifinals. In 2016, she participated in the women's trap event at the Summer Olympics and secured a gold medal. Despite finishing in 8th place, Skinner missed out on the finals in the women's trap at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Additionally, she graduated from RMIT in 2015, earning a degree in Chemical Engineering, and briefly worked at Dow Chemical in 2017.
