Priscilla Marie Winans Love, known professionally as CeCe Winans, is an American gospel singer. Born on October 8, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, Winans has achieved remarkable success in her career. She has been awarded 15 Grammy Awards, making her the most awarded female gospel singer. With 31 GMA Dove Awards, 17 Stellar Awards, and 7 NAACP Image Awards, Winans has a multitude of honors to her credit. She is also one of the inaugural inductees into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame. Winans is regarded as one of the greatest gospel artists of all time and is the most-awarded and best-selling gospel act of all time. She has sold over 17 million certified records and has a total estimated sales of over 19 million. Winans rose to fame as a member of the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans before pursuing a successful solo career. Her solo albums consistently top Gospel, Christian, and R&B music charts, and her collaborative albums with her brother, BeBe Winans, have also been highly successful.
