Chai Hansen

Chai Hansen (born Surachai Romruen on February 8, 1989) is a Thai-Australian actor. He gained recognition for his roles in popular TV shows such as Mako Mermaids, The 100, and Shadowhunters. Hansen was born in Ko Samui, Thailand, and later migrated to Australia with his mother and sister. In 2011, he joined the cast of Mako Mermaids as Zac, a role he played alongside Alex Cubis. He also appeared in The 100 as Ilian in its fourth season. Hansen was cast as Monkey in The New Legends of Monkey, a modern adaptation of Journey to the West. He has also appeared in Shadowhunters as Jordan Kyle, a werewolf, in its third season.
