Charlie Carter Biography
Charlie Carter, born Charles Gerard Carter on January 19, 1971 in Gowran, County Kilkenny, is an Irish former hurler. He played as a corner-forward for the Kilkenny county team. Carter began his hurling career at St Kieran's College. He made his senior debut for Kilkenny during the 1990-91 National League. Throughout his career, he won two All-Ireland medals, four Leinster medals, and one National Hurling League medal. Carter also represented the Leinster inter-provincial team and won one Railway Cup medal. At the club level, he achieved two championship medals with Young Irelands. Carter retired from inter-county hurling after making 29 championship appearances.
