Charlie Lynch
Charlie Lynch (1891-1968) was an Australian rugby league coach known for his success in the 1920s and 1940s. He began his coaching career as the first-grade coach for the South Sydney club in 1928, succeeding Alf Blair. Lynch achieved immediate success, winning the premiership in his debut year and going on to win premierships in 1929, 1931, and 1932. After 11 seasons with South Sydney, he retired from coaching in 1940. Lynch then became the first-grade coach for St. George in 1947 but was not retained for the 1948 season. He is remembered as a multi-premiership-winning coach in Australian rugby league.
