Charlie O'Connor
Charlie O'Connor (born 9 April 1946) is an Irish politician. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South-West constituency from 2002 to 2011. O'Connor attended Synge Street CBS, Drimnagh Castle CBS, the Irish Management Institute, and the Industrial Relations Institute. He began his political career in 1991 as a member of Dublin County Council, later becoming a member of South Dublin County Council. O'Connor served as Cathaoirleach (Chairperson) of South Dublin County Council from 1999 to 2000. In the 2002 and 2007 general elections, he was elected to the Dáil. However, he lost his seat in the 2011 general election.
