Charlie Rhindress (born May 9, 1966) is an actor, writer, director, and producer hailing from Amherst, Nova Scotia. He received his education at Mount Allison University and co-founded Live Bait Theatre in Sackville, New Brunswick, where he served as the Artistic Director. Known for his comedic talents, Rhindress has written and produced eighteen plays, including The Maritime Way of Life, which earned a nomination for a Canadian Comedy award, and Flying On Her Own, based on the life of singer/songwriter Rita MacNeil. Several of his plays have been staged at Ship's Company Theatre in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. Additionally, Rhindress has authored or co-authored over 30 dinner theatre scripts, showcasing his versatile writing skills.
