Charlie Sykes

Charles Jay Sykes is an American political commentator and editor-in-chief of The Bulwark. He hosted a conservative talk show on WTMJ in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1993 to 2016. Sykes also served as the editor of Right Wisconsin, co-owned with WTMJ's parent company E. W. Scripps. Additionally, he is a frequent columnist at MSNBC. Born in Seattle, Washington in 1954, Sykes grew up in New York and Fox Point, Wisconsin. His father, Jay G. Sykes, was a lawyer turned journalist. Charles graduated from Nicolet High School and went on to have a successful career in media and political commentary.
