Chase Rice (born September 19, 1985) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and reality television personality. He gained fame in 2010 as the runner-up on Survivor: Nicaragua. Rice then pursued a career in country music and co-wrote the diamond-certified single 'Cruise' performed by Florida Georgia Line. He has released five studio albums, with his third album, Ignite the Night, debuting at the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Rice has achieved two number-one singles on the Country Airplay chart with 'Eyes on You' and 'Drinkin' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen.' featuring Florida Georgia Line. Prior to his music career, Rice was a college football linebacker for the North Carolina Tar Heels and a NASCAR pit crew member for Hendrick Motorsports. He was born in Florida and grew up on a farm in Asheville, North Carolina.
