    Cherisse Osei (born December 23, 1986) is an English drummer known for her work with the band Simple Minds and various other acts. She has played with artists such as Mantas, The Faders, Paloma Faith, Bryan Ferry, Kelly Jones, and Mika. Osei won first place in the 'Live Session Drummer' category for Rhythm magazine's Music Radar polls in 2018. As a member of The Faders, she appeared on the series Veronica Mars. Influenced by drummers like John Bonham, Sheila E., and Steve Gadd, Osei developed a passion for drumming at a young age. Her parents' love for music exposed her to different genres, inspiring her career in music.
