Chloe Dao

Chloe Dao (ໂຄລອີ ດາວ; born June 15, 1972) is an American fashion designer and television personality. She gained prominence as the winner of the second season of the reality show Project Runway. Born in Pakse, Laos, to an ethnic Vietnamese family, Dao's parents moved to Thailand to escape the Vietnamese civil war. In 1979, the family immigrated to the United States. Dao developed her passion for fashion by redesigning vintage clothes, and her talent shone through when she created her own prom dress. She studied marketing at the University of Houston before enrolling at Houston Community College's design program and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, graduating in 1994 with an associate's degree in fashion design.
