Chris Benz Biography
Chris Benz is an American fashion designer known for his use of color, texture, and prints. He gained recognition early in his career as a recipient of a CFDA scholarship while attending Parsons School of Design. After interning with Marc Jacobs and working at J.Crew, Benz launched his own collection in 2007. His unique designs often subvert traditional dressmaking codes and techniques. Benz's collection is available in stores across the United States, Canada, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. In 2009, he was inducted into the CFDA. Benz's work has been featured in top fashion publications, including Vogue, Elle, and Glamour. He has also collaborated with Moscot and Lancôme to design eyewear and frames respectively.
