Chris "The Westside Strangler" Brennan (born October 12, 1971) is an American mixed martial artist who competed in the Welterweight division. He fought professionally from 1996 to 2012, competing for organizations such as UFC, PRIDE, Cage Rage, King of the Cage, and Shooto. Brennan is a former King of the Cage Middleweight Champion and Middleweight Superfight Champion. He also participated in the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships in 2005. In addition to his fighting career, Brennan founded Nogi Industries, a Mixed Martial Arts clothing company. He was inducted into the Mixed Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2014. Currently, Brennan is the owner and founder of Next Generation MMA, focusing on grappling events and winning the No-Gi Black Belt World Championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
