Chris Bryant

Chris Bryant, born on January 11, 1962, is a British politician and former Anglican priest. Currently serving as the Shadow Minister for Creative Industries and Digital since 2023, he has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for Rhondda since 2001. Prior to his political career, Bryant studied English at Mansfield College, Oxford, and later worked as a priest in the Church of England. He has also held positions at the BBC and Common Purpose. Bryant has served in various government roles, including Deputy Leader of the House of Commons and Under-Secretary of State for Europe and Asia. He has been actively involved in the Labour Party and has held positions in the Shadow Cabinet as well.
