Chris Caputo Biography
Chris Caputo (born July 22, 1980) is an American basketball coach who currently serves as the head coach of the George Washington Revolutionaries men's basketball team. Caputo played basketball at Westfield State, serving as team captain. After graduation, he joined Jim Larrañaga's coaching staff at George Mason, where he started as the director of operations and video coordinator before becoming a full assistant coach in 2005. Caputo was part of the George Mason team that reached the Final Four in 2006. When Larrañaga moved to Miami in 2011, Caputo followed and was on staff for the Hurricanes' 2013 ACC regular season and tournament titles, as well as their Sweet 16 appearance in the 2013 NCAA tournament. Caputo has been part of five NCAA Tournament appearances in total.
