Chris Conroy

Christopher Patrick Conroy (born July 22, 1974) is an American Major League Baseball (MLB) umpire. He made his MLB debut on September 29, 2010 and his uniform number is 98. Conroy became a full-time staff member of MLB umpires on June 14, 2013, taking over for Brian Runge. In 2023, he was promoted to crew chief. Notable games in which Conroy officiated include Adrián Beltré's cycle against the Minnesota Twins on August 24, 2012, and Homer Bailey's no-hitter against the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 28, 2012. Conroy also served as one of the MLB umpire representatives for the November 2014 MLB Japan All-Star Series.
