Chris Fischer

Chris Fischer is an American chef and farmer from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. He grew up on a farm, learning about food and farming from his father, a former commercial fisherman. Fischer began his culinary career working under Mario Batali at Babbo in Manhattan. He also gained experience cooking in Europe at the American Academy in Rome and London's The River Cafe. In 2007, he returned to Martha's Vineyard to work at his family farm, Beetlebung Farm. Fischer later served as the executive chef at the Beach Plum Inn & Restaurant. He is also known as the husband of stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer.
