Chris Lindsay

Chris Lindsay, born Christian Haller Lindsay on July 24, 1878, was a professional baseball player who played as a first baseman for the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball. Known by the nicknames 'Pinky' and 'The Crab', Lindsay was a right-handed batter and thrower, standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds. Born in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, Lindsay had a two-season career in which he played 229 games, accumulating a .242 batting average with 97 runs and 64 RBI. He recorded 30 doubles, three triples, and 28 stolen bases, but did not hit any home runs. Lindsay passed away at the age of 62 in Cleveland, Ohio.
