Chris McLaughlin is a British journalist and editor. He was born in 1955 and is known for his work as the editor of the Labour Party-supporting weekly UK magazine Tribune from 2004 to 2018. Currently, he holds the position of editor-at-large at Tribune, overseeing the magazine's News output. Prior to his role at Tribune, McLaughlin served as the political editor of the Sunday Mirror and the deputy Political Editor of The Mail on Sunday. He also worked as the European Editor and deputy Political Editor of The Scotsman and was a columnist for The Big Issue. Additionally, McLaughlin was a Labour councillor in the London Borough of Newham for four years.
