    Christopher Michael Peters, born January 28, 1972, is a retired professional baseball pitcher who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Montreal Expos in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He was drafted by the Pirates in the 1993 amateur draft and played six seasons at the major league level. Peters also played for various minor league teams, including the Carmichaels Copperheads in the FCBL, and the independent Atlantic League's Pennsylvania Road Warriors, Newark Bears, and Camden Riversharks. His last affiliated season was in 2002 for the Detroit Tigers' Double-A Erie SeaWolves. Peters is known for his contributions to the sport during his career.
