Chris Powell

Christopher George Robin Powell, born on 8th September 1969, is an English football coach and former player. Powell had an extensive career as a left back, playing for several clubs including Southend United, Derby County, Charlton Athletic, West Ham United, Watford, and Leicester City. He had three spells with Charlton Athletic over eight seasons and was part of the squad that won the First Division and got promoted to the Premier League in the 1999–2000 season. Powell made five appearances for the England national team. After retiring as a player, he transitioned into coaching and management, working at clubs such as Leicester City, Charlton Athletic, Huddersfield Town, and Derby County.
