Christian Brassington Biography
Christian Brassington (born 6 June 1983) is an English actor and writer. He is best known for his role as the odious vicar Ossie Whitworth in the third and fourth series of the BBC period drama Poldark. Brassington has also portrayed a young Boris Johnson in the More4 documentary drama When Boris Met Dave (2009), and a young Tony Blair in a Channel 4 production in 2006. Born on 6 June 1983 in Wellington, Shropshire, England, he attended Brighton Hill Community School and Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke. Brassington pursued his passion for acting by studying at London's Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He made his on-screen debut in the BBC's police procedural drama The Cops in 1999.
