Christian James

Christian James (born October 23, 1996) is an American professional basketball player currently playing for Bambitious Nara in the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners. James began his basketball training with former NBA player John Lucas II in eighth grade. He attended Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas, where he earned District MVP honors as a junior, averaging 20 points and eight rebounds per game. James suffered a broken tibia in his left leg before his senior season, limiting him to only two games. He committed to play college basketball for Oklahoma and helped his team reach the Final Four round of the 2016 NCAA tournament as a freshman. James is known for his defensive skills and versatility on the court.
