Christian Ryan Biography
Christian Ryan (born 5 June 1977) is an Australian former rower who achieved success in the sport during his career. He represented Victoria in the King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta multiple times, winning the prestigious race in 1998, 2000, 2006, and 2007. Ryan also represented Australia on the international stage, making his debut at the 1997 World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne. He competed in the U23 Australian eight, finishing fourth at the 1997 World Rowing U23 Championships in Milan. Ryan's notable accomplishment came at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where he won a silver medal. Throughout his career, he rowed for the Melbourne University Boat Club.
