Christopher Henry Gibbs (29 July 1938 – 28 July 2018) was a British antiques dealer and collector, as well as a prominent figure in men's fashion and interior design during the 1960s in London. Known as the 'King of Chelsea' and 'London's most famous antiques dealer,' he played a pivotal role in shaping the Swinging London movement. Gibbs was recognized for his impeccable taste and expertise in distressed bohemian interior design. He hailed from a prestigious background, being the fifth son of Hon. Sir Geoffrey Cokayne Gibbs and Helen Margaret Leslie CBE. Gibbs attended Eton College, Stanbridge Earls School, and the University of Poitiers.
