    Christopher Joseph Lennertz (born January 2, 1972) is an American composer, songwriter, and conductor known for his work in film, television, and video game scores. He holds dual citizenship of the USA and Italy. Lennertz's musical scores have been featured in popular films such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hop, Think Like a Man, and Horrible Bosses. He is also known for composing the scores for the video game series Medal of Honor, created by Steven Spielberg. In television, Lennertz has composed the score for the series Supernatural and Revolution, both created by Eric Kripke. Additionally, he has made appearances in Galavant and Sausage Party alongside Alan Menken, as well as Marvel's Agent Carter, where he co-wrote the first-ever Marvel musical number with Tony award-winning lyricist David Zippel. Lennertz has also contributed to the songs for the film UglyDolls, featuring artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Lizzo, Janelle Monae, and Blake Shelton. His work includes composing the score for the Netflix series Lost in Space and the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys, created by Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. Lennertz was born in Methuen, Massachusetts and attended Easton Area.
