Christopher Rivera Biography
Christopher Rivera (born October 2, 1986) is a Swiss former professional ice hockey player. He spent the majority of his career with Genève-Servette HC in the National League (NL) and also played for HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the NL. Rivera made his NL debut during the 2003–04 playoffs with Genève-Servette HC. Besides his playing career, Rivera works as a hockey analyst for the Francophone Swiss TV station, Léman Bleu. In 2015, he was traded to Fribourg-Gotteron, Geneva's rival team. Despite having a valid contract for the 2018/19 season, Rivera was released by Gottéron in July 2018. He retired from professional hockey following the 2017/18 season and played two more seasons with amateur teams in the Geneva area.
