Chuck Billy

Chuck Billy, born Charles Billy on June 23, 1962, is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist for thrash metal band Testament. He joined the band in 1986, replacing vocalist Steve 'Zetro' Souza. Testament, formerly known as Legacy, released their debut album 'The Legacy' in 1987, featuring one song written by Billy. Since then, Testament has released twelve more studio albums, toured extensively, and shared the stage with renowned acts such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Megadeth. Alongside guitarist Eric Peterson, Billy is one of the two constant members of Testament, appearing on all of the band's studio albums. His vocal style has evolved throughout his career.
