Claire Keane

Claire Keane (born March 1, 1979) is an author, illustrator, and visual development artist. She is best known for her contributions to several Disney films including Enchanted, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, and Frozen. Keane, the daughter of Disney animator Glen Keane and granddaughter of cartoonist Bil Keane, creator of The Family Circus comic strip, grew up in California before moving to France at the age of 16. She attended the American School of Paris and the Paris outpost of the Parsons School of Design. Keane then studied at the École Supérieure D'arts Graphiques in Paris. She has spent ten years working at Disney Feature Animation, where she played a significant role in designing for Tangled and Frozen.
