Clare Bowen

Clare Maree Bowen (born 12 May 1984) is an Australian actress, singer, and dancer. She is best known for her role as Scarlett O'Connor in the ABC/CMT musical-drama television series Nashville. Bowen has also released music from the show and has a solo debut album. She often collaborates with her husband, Brandon Young, under the name Bowen*Young. Bowen, a cancer survivor, was born in Australia and spent time overseas, including in Zimbabwe. She grew up in Stanwell Park and attended primary school in Dulwich Hill. Bowen earned a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree from the University of Wollongong in 2006.
