    Cody Davis (born June 6, 1989) is an American football safety for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2013 and has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Davis played college football at Texas Tech. Prior to his professional career, he attended Stephenville High School in Stephenville, Texas. During his high school years, Davis helped lead the school to a combined record of 33-5 as a starter in the defensive backfield. He received various accolades, including being named an Associated Press Class 4A Second-team All-state selection and District 8-4A Defensive MVP during his senior season.
