Colin Jackson

Colin Ray Jackson (born 18 February 1967) is a Welsh former sprint and hurdling athlete. Representing Great Britain and Wales, he specialized in the 110 meters hurdles. Jackson had a successful career, winning numerous medals and championships. He won an Olympic silver medal and became world champion twice. Jackson also won the world indoor championship once and was undefeated at the European Championships for 12 years. He was twice Commonwealth champion. Jackson held the world record for the 110 meters hurdles for over 10 years and his 60 meters hurdles world record stood for nearly 27 years. He is considered one of the greatest sprint and hurdles athletes of all time.
