Colleen Davis

Colleen Davis (Carroll; born 1979 or 1980) is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party. Since 2019, she has served as the Delaware State Treasurer. Davis grew up in Sussex County, Delaware, after moving from the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Indian River High School in 1998 and attended Philadelphia University on a soccer scholarship. Before entering politics, Davis worked as a financial consultant for medical systems. In the 2018 elections, Davis ran for State Treasurer and defeated incumbent Republican Ken Simpler. She was sworn into office on January 1, 2019, and then reelected in 2022, defeating Republican nominee Greg Coverdale.
