Connie Sellecca (born Concetta Sellecchia on May 25, 1955) is an American actress, producer, and former model. She gained recognition for her roles in popular television series such as Flying High, The Greatest American Hero, and Hotel, earning her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress - Television Series Drama in 1987. Sellecca was born in The Bronx, New York to Italian parents, Primo and Marianna Sellecchia. She developed an interest in performing arts while attending Ramapo High School in Spring Valley. After briefly attending Boston College, she decided to pursue a career in acting. Sellecca started her career as a fashion model and made her acting debut in the 1978 TV film The Bermuda Depths.
