Connor Barrett

Connor Barrett, born Oliver O'Connor Barrett on January 17, 1908, was a British sculptor, painter, graphic artist, educator, poet, and composer. He began his career in England, studying at Fircroft College and exhibiting at the Royal Academy. In 1940, Barrett moved to the United States, settling in New York City. He continued to exhibit his work at various art centers and academies throughout the country. Barrett's artistic style encompassed various mediums and he was known for his cartoonish approach. He passed away in July 1989, leaving behind a legacy of creative works and contributions to the art world.
