Cooper Taylor
Cooper Taylor (born April 4, 1990) is a former American football safety. He played college football at Georgia Tech before transferring to Richmond. Taylor was selected in the fifth round by the New York Giants in the 2013 NFL Draft. Prior to his professional career, he attended Marist High School in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned two-time all-state and all-county selections. At Georgia Tech, Taylor received second-team All-ACC honors in the 2008 season and was named an honorable mention Freshmen All-American. He transferred to the University of Richmond due to a medical condition, Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. During his senior season at Richmond, Taylor received numerous accolades including First-team AP All-American, First-team Walter Camp All-America, and First-team The Sports Network All-America.
