Corin Hardy

Corin Hardy (born 6 January 1975) is an English film director known for his work in the horror genre. He made his directorial debut in 2015 with the critically acclaimed horror film The Hallow, which he also co-wrote. Hardy gained further recognition when he directed the 2018 horror film The Nun, a spin-off of The Conjuring 2 and part of The Conjuring Universe. In addition to his film work, Hardy has also directed episodes for the television series Gangs of London in 2020, and became the showrunner for its second series in 2022. Prior to his directing career, Hardy began his journey as a special effects artist, creating monsters in his bike shed and making Super 8 films with his school friends.
