Crystal Dunn

Crystal Alyssia Soubrier (Dunn; born July 3, 1992) is an American professional soccer player. She currently plays for the National Women's Soccer League club, Portland Thorns FC, and represents the United States women's national team. Dunn made her international debut on February 13, 2013, in a friendly match against Scotland. With over 100 appearances, she has become a key player for her country. During her college years at the University of North Carolina, Dunn played for the North Carolina Tar Heels from 2010 to 2013. She was awarded the prestigious Hermann Trophy in 2012 for being the best college soccer player. In 2014, Dunn was selected as the first overall pick by the Washington Spirit in the NWSL College Draft. She had an outstanding season the following year, winning both the NWSL Most Valuable Player and Golden Boot awards at the age of 23.
