Crystal Monee Hall

Crystal Monee Hall is an American singer, songwriter, vocal arranger, and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Crystal started her career in the Tony Award-winning musical RENT, performing in both the Broadway and National Touring companies. She released her debut album 'River Train' in 2010, catching the attention of Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. Crystal then joined the Mickey Hart Band, contributing her songwriting and vocals to their albums 'Mysterium Tremendum' (2012) and 'Superorganism' (2013). In addition to her solo work, Crystal has provided supporting vocals for renowned artists such as Elton John, Mariah Carey, Jason Mraz, India Arie, Ledisi, and Ben Platt. She currently serves as an adjunct professor of music at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
