Damon Johnson

Damon Rogers Johnson (born July 13, 1964) is an American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter known for his contributions to various rock bands. Johnson co-founded Brother Cane in the 1990s and later joined Alice Cooper's band as lead guitarist. He was also the lead guitarist and co-songwriter for hard rock group Black Star Riders from 2012 to 2018. Damon Johnson has released several solo albums and his songs have been recorded by notable artists such as Stevie Nicks and Carlos Santana. Since 2021, he has also been performing with Southern rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd. Born in Monroeville, Alabama, Johnson developed a passion for guitar at a young age and began playing in local bands before gaining recognition in the music industry.
