Dan Carlin

Dan Carlin (born November 14, 1965) is an American podcaster and political commentator. With a background in television news reporting, Carlin hosts three popular independent podcasts: Hardcore History, Hardcore History: Addendum, and Common Sense. These podcasts have received numerous accolades, including recognition as the best educational and history podcasts, and have been ranked among the best podcasts of all time. Carlin's expertise in history is showcased in his first book published in 2019. Apart from podcasting, Carlin has also ventured into television news, authorship, blogging, and radio talk show hosting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Colorado Boulder. Carlin's parents are actress Lynn Carlin and film producer Ed Carlin.
