Dan Ponce
Dan Ponce (born December 7, 1976) is a Chicago-based television journalist known for his work at WGN-TV. He is also a radio talk show host on WLS-AM (890) and the founder of Straight No Chaser, an a cappella group. Ponce began his TV career in 2005 at WILX-TV in Lansing, Michigan, before joining ABC-owned WLS-TV in Chicago as a general assignment reporter. In 2009, he left ABC to join Straight No Chaser full-time after their album 'Holiday Spirits' reached #1 on iTunes and Amazon. The group went on to perform numerous concerts and released three more albums on Atlantic Records. Ponce later returned to his TV career and was hired by WGN-TV. He holds a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism.
